Most districts that screw the teachers while taking care of the Superintendent are terrible places to work. Likely there is a massive teacher turnover rate in this district.
Health insurance is marginal here. Though family premium share is 9.5%, family deductible + MOOP is $8600. Family premium + deductible + MOOP is $11,300 which will financially wipe a family out if one member has a serious illness. We recommend going 50 miles west to a nice Minnesota district for a big pay increase and much better benefits.
