We rank employment in this district as a Dead End job for it's Average Teacher salary increase of 18%, well behind the inflation rate. Prior to Act 10, we think that this district must have had one of the highest average teacher salaries in Brown County. Sadly, it appears that the School Board hasn't placed a high enough priority on maintaining the value of teachers' salaries.
The Superintendent pay increases were even lower than the teacher pay increases. When that happens, we suspect that this district may be having some money problems due to either declining enrollment or the defunding of public schools by the Republican Dictatorship that rules Wisconsin.
This district is located in Brown County, which is a Majority-MAGA Trump voting county. The majority of your neighbors support everything President Trump does and expects you to do the same. Dissent is not tolerated.
Whatever the case, we would urge prospective teaching candidates to exercise extreme caution before accepting an employment offer from this district.
