Since the MAGA Republican Dictatorship that rules Wisconsin enacted Act 10 in 2011, teachers in this school district in this county have suffered significant salary cuts due to pay increases falling far below the inflation rate.

The Algoma school district has been a particularly difficult district to work in with open animosity from the MAGA-owned school board members towards the teachers in this community. We cannot understand how this district is able to attract or retain any teachers when much better positions are available in surrounding school districts closer to Green Bay.
