Since 2011, the average teacher salary has increased by 8% which is far below the inflation rate of 36.4%. Teachers have really taken it on the chin in this district, likely leading to a massive turnover rate which has further depressed the average teacher salary.

One bright spot is that the Superintendent must be an absolute ROCK STAR since the School Board has increased the Superintendent's salary by 49% since 2011. 

Seriously though, it has been our experience that districts where the school board screws the teachers while lavishing huge pay raises on the Superintendent are horrible places to teach.

This district is located in an Ultra MAGA Trump voting county where all residents are expected to be 100% supportive of everything President Trump does. Dissent is not tolerated in ultra-MAGA Wisconsin counties.
