This school district is located in Fond du Lac County, which in one of the most rabid Trump supporting Wisconsin counties. Not surprisingly, public education in this county suffers from a lack of support from the mostly MAGA county residents.
Since the MAGA Republican Dictatorship that rules Wisconsin enacted Act 10 in 2011, teachers in every school district in this county have suffered significant salary cuts due to pay increases falling far below the inflation rate.
The Rosendale-Brandon school district average teacher salary was $59,959. The increase in average teacher salary since 2011 was 21.9%, or about 2/3 of the inflation rate. This pay increase was one of the better increases in Fond du Lac County, though we suspect that many teachers end up remitting their meager salaries paying off speeding tickets and citations issued by the infamous Rosendale Police Department which has earned nationwide notoriety for issuing more speeding tickets per capita than any other town in America!! Rosendale is filled with cops & speed traps, writing tickets for going 1 mph over the town-wide 25mph speed limit!!
Keeping up with neighboring school districts, the Rosendale-Brandon school district gave the Superintendent a 46.7% pay increase, more than DOUBLE the Average Teacher pay increase.
Unless you're a PRETTY BIG DEAL Superintendent, we rate career employment potential in this district as a DEAD END job.
