We rate this district as a DEAD END job for several reasons.  

Since 2011, the average teacher salary has increased by 6.6% which is FAR below the inflation rate of 36.4%.  This is actually an improvement from past years. Prior to the 2022-23 school year, the average teacher salary increased by only $129 between 2010-11 and 2022-23. One of the 5 lowest increases in Wisconsin. 

Last year, the average teacher salary increased by nearly $4000. So there's some hope that this district is trying to retain good teachers by paying them better compensation. 

At the same time, the School Board has increased the Superintendent salary by over 50%. 

Most districts that screw the teachers while taking care of the Superintendent are terrible places to work. Likely there is a massive teacher turnover rate in this district.  

 This district is located in an Ultra MAGA Trump voting county where all residents are expected to be 100% supportive of everything President Trump does. Dissent is not tolerated in ultra-MAGA Wisconsin counties.
